Join herbalist Flora Scott for a walk to explore and learn all about the medicinal and edible wild plants growing around the farm. The walk is an opportunity to learn about seasonal wild plants growing all around us that we can use as medicine and food to benefit our health. You will learn all about the traditional uses of wild plants, herbal folklore, as well as how to safely identify, sustainably forage and prepare wild herbs for making herbal remedies at home.

Various herbal teas will be tried on the walk and you will receive a handout of remedies and recipes to make at home.

Flora is a qualified medical herbalist, forager and gardener. She is passionate about inspiring people to connect with the plant world for their well-being and runs Wild Medicine Walks around Gloucestershire throughout the year. She practices herbal medicine at The Nailsworth Natural Health Centre and is a member of ‘The National Institute of Medical Herbalists’, the most prestigious body of professional medical herbalists in the UK. She has a background in horticulture and was introduced to herbal medicine through her work on medicinal herb nurseries and organic herb farms. She teaches on a professional herbal medicine diploma at Betonica School of Herbal Medicine.
